A look at video marketing
For those of you who missed the last post on Google Trends, one takeaway from those statistic ring true. Video and blogs are the hot stuff right now. How do you get some of this action and how will it benefit your company? A large part of it is about brand, getting your name out there contributes to the web footprint in the same way that SEO does. The there’s the additional benefit of touting your wares…a creative short clip can do wonders even with product placement but make sure you’re as transparent about it as possible. Unless of course you want to be caught. They do say that there’s no such thing as bad publicity (I disagree by the way).
At Dinkum, we do a lot of new media marketing. We did a quick clip to promote the Best Damn Tech Show, Period which garnered a lot of views and more folks watching the show.
