There are FREE tools out there to tell you the most popular search terms. There are also SEO providers that will show you what to do after you have given them the right keywords for your business. What you really need is a company that will help guide you through the process of selecting the keyword phrases that are right for you and your business goals.

It is not necessarily the most popular phrases that you should target.

  1. First those phrases may be very competitive and are going to take a lot of time to get you to page one.
  2. Second – just because they are the most popular does not mean they are the terms being used by the target audience you want – the buyers, specifiers, etc…

An in-depth process that includes research is critical to any serious internet marketing project. Once things are chosen and implemented the really hard part begins.
