Breaking News – Google and Twitter partnership
So after some speculation, Google has finally announced an official partnership with Twitter to provide tweets within search results. From the official Google blog:
..the next time you search for something that can be aided by a real-time observation, say, snow conditions at your favorite ski resort, you’ll find tweets from other users who are there and sharing the latest and greatest information.
This is indeed big news and more motivation to those who may be a little hesitant to jump on the twitter bandwagon.
I guess we should also mention a similar announcement that Bing is integrating search results with twitter and in fact, you can already see it in action over at bing.com/twitter . We’re not exactly clear on the Google rollout other than it might be a couple of months away. Stay tuned for more….
