We are supporters of the DIY SEO option especially for small businesses. That’s essentially how we all started at this game, for me that was about 12 years ago and fortunately I’ve managed to refine my skills, sometimes through trial and error to a point where we can do large and complex websites effectively and efficiently. Still, SEO takes a lot of time and resources and we charge what we charge because of the expertise that we have behind us. I’d personally love to be able to accommodate for all companies AND give them the results they need but we’ve learned that it doesn’t work that way and we’ve turned away plenty of potential clients because of that.
Our advice is that it’s sometimes worth just giving it a go. There are systems that help you along the way. DIYSEO.com is one of those that can help guide you. A lot of reputable SEO’s offer a website review that’s very affordable and can work as a roadmap for you.
