It is good to be "The King"

See the news – Google posts record numbers again. Third quarter profit nearly double. Any one in advertising will tell you that the third quarter is the slowest especially on the Internet because people are away and not looking at their computers – as my grandfather would say – poppycock (whatever that means).

Yahoo earlier in the week busted and the value of the company continues to drop. Google earned $733.4 million on revenue of $2.62 billion – a 70% increase from just one year before. So how did the public react. Share price went up $6.75 by 4:00 and after hours trading went up another $31. Price now hovers around $425 – where was I at the IPO cannot forgive myself.  Buy it now – interesting question.

How long can it go? Wow sounds like another question like – what will be next over the Internet. Wish I knew. The wild wild west atmosphere of the Internet continues and “The King” will certainly have its say.

At least you can say they have not bullied us about the same way that Microsoft did. Will that change – another one to ponder. as an aside – I am starting to see more and more MAC’s in the business environment – is it possible?

Enough wonderings what about my Search Engine Optimization and how will all this affect me. So far the only indication I have for you is that according to the latest numbers – Google went up another 1% in search engine usage.

AHHHHHHH to be the king. Let me know what would be your first actions if you were the Internet “KING”
