Micro who – does it again

I just got my “Around the Net in Online Media” and could not pass the first story about Microsoft and I quote from the story, “In an email to Microsoft staff announcing the test, Satya Nadella, the Senior Vice President in charge of research and development for Microsoft’s online services division, notes that consumers often don’t find what they’re looking for from today’s search engines.” So MS comes out with – what is reported as one of the ugliest things around called Kumo and takes shots from the start.
I must be confused – where does she work and perhaps they don’t see what I see. Hasn’t Google gained market share every quarter since forever, and would they continue to gain share if in fact no one was finding what they were looking for?
Is it always the exact answer for what you are searching for? – no, but is it so bad that folks are searching far and wide to find a replacement? NO!
I am so surprised that MS continues to be in figuring out mode when it comes to the Internet – they barely know what to do with their own software enterprise and now they let this out. Maybe they should go out and buy the disfunctional Yahoo – that will help them figure it out.
MS – you goofed – again
If I am wrong here let me know – my guess is that I am right – but I could be bias and just ranting.
