Web musings

I have been collecting some tidbits (techie talk) of useful or useless info for your reading pleasure:

1) Tom Brady, quarterback for the New England Patriots (got spanked this weekend), is asking money from Yahoo – it seems Yahoo was using his likeness in some ads – just forgot to get his okay on it – oops – Yahoo getting desperate?

2) Baidu launches the new blog search engine in China – perhaps this blog thingy might catch on??

3) Google – Ann Arbor, Michigan. Opens a new ad sales office in September, seems it has 40 people working there already. They need to move – going from 7,000 square foot spot to an 80,000 square foot spot – guess they are expecting a little growth in the Ann Arbor area.

4) Have you checked out the use of RSS in your shopping experience – these sites will keep checking for better pricing for you and feed it to you – go see, offertrax, style feeder, or mpire.
